Sources close to the La Querola d’Ordino development expect difficult negotiations with the project’s insurers over the losses caused by the fire.
According to Crónica Global, sources close to the complex anticipate demanding talks with the companies in an effort to recover as much as possible of the losses involving the homes and their contents.
The fire on 22 September has left two closely connected questions unresolved: the extent of the work needed to restore the residential complex and how insurers will respond to the losses.

La Querola represented an investment of around €130 million and fourteen years of construction when the fire on 22 September severely damaged six of the complex’s seven buildings.
The development designed by Jean Nouvel now faces a process in which damage assessments and negotiations with insurers will be crucial to determining how the complex can be restored.
