Less than a week to go until the Andorra Economic Forum as the country prepares for a major business and economic gathering
The Andorra la Vella Congress Centre will host the forum’s fourth edition on 3–4 October
The countdown to the Andorra Economic Forum is entering its final stretch. Next weekend, 3–4 October, the Andorra la Vella Congress Centre will bring together economists, entrepreneurs, investors and professionals for two days exploring markets, business trends and the challenges of innovation.
Organised by Abast and Racks Labs and sponsored by MoraBanc, the event returns for its fourth edition with a programme combining economic insights, business experience and opportunities to build professional connections.
New speakers this year include philosopher Andrés Caramés, law and artificial intelligence expert Covadonga Torres, and businessman José Carlos González-Hurtado.
Bastos, Marcos de Quinto and Jesús G. Maestro among the speakers
The announced line-up includes Miguel Anxo Bastos, Marcos de Quinto, former Executive Vice President of The Coca-Cola Company, and Jesús G. Maestro, Professor of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature.
Other speakers include market specialist Gustavo Martínez, financial adviser Javier del Valle, Tressis CEO José Miguel Maté Salgado, and Plus Partners founding partner Oriol Juncosa.
From geopolitics to artificial intelligence
The published agenda features 18 sessions. On Saturday, doors will open at 9 am, with the opening session scheduled for 10 am. José Miguel Maté Salgado and Pol Carulla will begin the thematic discussions with an analysis of geopolitics and markets.
At 10.45 am, Bastos will discuss disasters and state intervention. During the morning, González-Hurtado will explore leadership, Silvia Senra and Xavier Riestra will discuss innovation in the ETF industry, and Covadonga Torres will deliver a presentation on Chat Control.
The afternoon will feature a comparison of gold and bitcoin by Javier FS de la Viña, followed by a panel on traditional professions with Claudia Romero, Aleix del Campo and Alejandro Rubio. Jaime Serrano will explore business applications of artificial intelligence, while Gustavo Martínez will analyse the metals and commodities cycle.
Sharing knowledge and building connections
Beyond the presentations, networking remains one of the forum’s main attractions, with breaks and dedicated spaces designed to encourage conversations between attendees and professionals.
The fourth edition follows an event that, according to the organisers, attracted 1,000 people in 2025 and generated an economic impact of more than €500,000 in Andorra.
