Miguel Bosé moves home and settles in Can Diumenge

Miguel Bosé is settling into his new life in Andorra. The singer, who has established his family and tax residence in the Principality, has now moved into a larger home in Can Diumenge, one of the residential areas of Escaldes-Engordany.

The move marks another step in Bosé’s relocation to the country after spending several months preparing to leave Mexico. According to El Economista, the artist has left the property where he initially stayed, a chalet reportedly costing around €10,000 a month in rent, in favour of a larger home better suited to his needs.

His new address places him in Can Diumenge, one of Escaldes-Engordany’s most sought-after residential areas and close to properties belonging to the Thyssen family. Andorran Prime Minister Xavier Espot’s new home is also located nearby.

One of Bosé’s priorities was reportedly having more space. His relocation to Andorra involved moving a significant amount of his belongings from Mexico, including furniture, personal possessions and technical equipment linked to his music career.

The new property also offers greater privacy and extensive views of the surrounding area, two highly valued features in this part of Escaldes-Engordany.

His sons begin a new chapter in Andorra

Bosé’s move to the Principality appears to be far more than a temporary stay. His sons, Tadeo and Diego, both 14, will also be building their everyday and academic lives in Andorra.

According to El Economista, the two boys were enrolled this spring at Agora International School Andorra. Their choice of school creates another link with a well-known family with longstanding ties to the country: Carmen and Sabina, Baroness Thyssen’s twin daughters, previously attended the same school.

Their enrolment, combined with the transfer of the family’s belongings from Mexico, points to Bosé establishing himself in Andorra on a long-term basis after years living abroad.

The singer also appears to have begun settling into everyday life in the Principality. According to local accounts cited by the Spanish newspaper, Bosé has been seen out and about in Andorra and is friendly towards people who recognise him, while reportedly being pleased with his new life in the country.

From Mexico to Escaldes-Engordany

Bosé, who turned 70 this year, arrives in Andorra after a long period of his life linked to Mexico. Before completing his move to the Principality, the singer spent part of the summer in Mallorca with his sons.

Tadeo and Diego also remain close to Yvo and Telmo, the sons of Bosé’s former partner Nacho Palau. The four boys initially grew up together as one family and have remained in contact despite Bosé and Palau’s subsequent separation.

There is currently no indication that Palau’s sons have visited Bosé’s new home in Andorra, although they regularly spend part of their summer holidays with Tadeo and Diego.

By settling in Can Diumenge, Miguel Bosé is moving into a residential area already associated with prominent names such as the Thyssen family, while Xavier Espot also has his new home nearby. The move further underlines Bosé’s decision to make Andorra the centre of this new stage of his personal and family life.
