Two men attempt to force open cash register at establishment in Pas de la Casa

Two men allegedly attempted to carry out a robbery involving forced entry at an establishment located on Comtes de Foix Street in Pas de la Casa during the early hours of Tuesday to Wednesday, at around 3 a.m.

According to information gathered, the two individuals allegedly entered the establishment with the intention of taking the money kept inside the cash register. Once inside, they reportedly attempted to force it open in order to gain access to the cash.

However, the attempted robbery was not successful, as the two men allegedly failed to open the cash register and did not manage to take any money. The incident was reported to the police, who have opened an investigation to clarify what happened and identify those responsible.

Police play down the incident

Police sources have sought to play down the seriousness of the incident, noting that, according to initial information, the two men were not reportedly wearing masks or otherwise covering their faces.

This detail could assist investigators in identifying the alleged perpetrators. Nevertheless, the investigation remains ongoing, and officers are still working to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the attempted robbery.

Although the men allegedly used force in an attempt to gain access to the cash register, no all money was ultimately stolen from the establishment.
