Influencer dies after penis enlargement treatment in Thailand
The hyaluronic acid procedure allegedly caused a fatal pulmonary embolism, and doctors attempted to resuscitate him for more than 100 minutes
British-Nigerian influencer and businessman Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo died at the age of 43 after undergoing a cosmetic penis enlargement procedure at a clinic in Thailand. A British coroner’s investigation concluded that the injections he received caused a pulmonary embolism that ultimately led to his death.
The incident occurred on 5 March while Ubiribo was visiting Bangkok with his wife, designer Danielle Simba Allen. According to El Mundo, the businessman received an injection containing approximately 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine at an unidentified Thai clinic.
Following the treatment, the couple returned to their hotel and attended a massage session. During the session, Ubiribo began experiencing severe chest pain and fainted twice.
More than 100 minutes of resuscitation attempts
The influencer was taken by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital in Bangkok. He was still able to answer the medical staff’s questions upon arrival, while his wife informed doctors about the injections he had received a few hours earlier.

The medical team recommended a CT scan, but Ubiribo lost consciousness before the test could be carried out. Doctors detected a pulmonary embolism and transferred him to the intensive care unit.
Medical staff attempted to resuscitate him for more than 100 minutes, but the businessman died in the early hours of 6 March.
A subsequent post-mortem examination in the United Kingdom found cellular material in his lungs consistent with the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure. The coroner overseeing the investigation determined that his death had been caused by a pulmonary embolism directly linked to the cosmetic treatment. A life of luxury displayed on social media
Ubiribo had approximately 185,000 followers on Instagram and was known for publicly displaying a luxurious lifestyle. He regularly shared photographs of high-end vehicles, designer clothing, boats and exclusive trips.
The businessman owned a $1.1 million home in Los Angeles and an apartment in London. He married Danielle Simba Allen in 2022 at a ceremony held in Zimbabwe.
A gold coffin reportedly worth more than €600,000
The funeral was held in London and attended by several prominent Nigerian figures, including singer Davido and nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest.
Ubiribo was buried in a gold coffin that reportedly cost more than $745,000, equivalent to approximately €650,000. The figure is based on media estimates and has not been publicly substantiated by purchase documentation.
