Andorra ski season set to open on 4 December
Grandvalira, Ordino Arcalís and Pal Arinsal plan to open on 4 December
The Grandvalira, Ordino Arcalís and Pal Arinsal ski areas plan to open their slopes on Friday, 4 December, marking the start of the 2026–27 winter season. The opening date announced by Grandvalira Resorts will depend on weather and snow conditions.
The group says the three ski areas have more than 300 kilometres of slopes combined, with different experiences for skiers.
Grandvalira offers a wide range of runs; Ordino Arcalís is known for its more rugged terrain, while Pal Arinsal focuses on a family-friendly, sporty atmosphere.
Season opening depends on snow conditions
Grandvalira Resorts has not yet announced the season’s new features or main events. More details will be released later. The winter offering also includes activities and services away from the slopes, such as après-ski, accommodation, restaurants and mountain villages.
As every year, opening the ski areas is subject to weather and snow conditions. 4 December is the planned date, but snow conditions will determine whether the resorts can welcome their first skiers.
