FEDA has warned about fraudulent emails impersonating the company to deceive users and potentially obtain personal or banking details. The company has identified two types of scam using its name to demand payments or prompt users to activate online accounts through suspicious links.

Emails threaten to cut off electricity

One campaign sends messages claiming that an electricity bill is overdue. The email threatens to suspend the power supply unless the amount is paid by a deadline and includes a payment button that redirects to a fraudulent link.

Fake registration with the FEDA Solucions online shop

The second scam impersonates FEDA Solucions and claims the recipient has registered with its online shop. The message urges them to activate the account through a link that does not belong to the company’s official channels.

How to spot fraudulent emails

FEDA advises recipients to check the sender’s address and verify links before opening them. It also urges people to be wary of messages that create a sense of urgency, threaten immediate consequences or ask them to take unexpected action.

The company reminds users not to enter personal or banking details on websites from questionable sources. If you receive a suspicious email, do not click any links or reply; delete it instead. If in doubt, contact FEDA directly through its official channels.
