Laura Bragança, a councillor in the minority group at La Massana parish council and a member of Concòrdia, has prepared a practical guide to help residents submit objections to the proposed viewpoint at Alt de la Capa.

The guide explains the steps that individuals, organisations and groups need to follow to submit their views on the project.

Last weekend, Bragança helped people interested in the process at the Marcel Chevalier Foundation’s stand at the Andorra la Vella Fair. The foundation has also joined the campaign collecting signatures to call for the project to be halted.

Minority councillors back alternatives to boost Arinsal

The minority group at La Massana parish council has opposed the viewpoint’s proposed location since the project was announced.

At the latest parish council meeting, Guillem Forné and Laura Bragança reiterated their opposition to the Alt de la Capa project and questioned whether the attraction could help revive the Pal Arinsal resort.

The minority group says there are other ways to boost Arinsal from the centre of the parish. It also argues that the viewpoint, located on the summit, would not be accessible to everyone.

Bragança to meet residents on 28 October and 4 and 11 November

The deadline for submitting objections is 14 November. Bragança has offered to collect signatures and help anyone who needs support with the process on Wednesday 28 October, 4 November and 11 November, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The meetings will be held in the Indret room at 10 Josep Rossell Street, La Massana.

The councillor’s post includes the support guide.
