Spanish developer launches 58-home residential project in Encamp, Andorra, with 48 units already contracted

Andorra's real estate market continues to attract investment from foreign property developers. Spanish property developer Grupo Ramat has announced a residential project comprising 58 homes in Encamp, marking the first international development under its A residential brand.

The development, primarily intended for permanent residence, has already achieved a high level of commercialisation. According to figures provided by the company, 48 of the 58 homes are under contract, seven have been reserved and only three remain available.

The project includes two- and three-bedroom apartments, with floor areas starting at 79.66 square metres, distributed across two residential buildings.

The information released by the developer does not specify the current construction status or an expected completion date.

Apartments with parking spaces and storage rooms in Encamp

All properties will include a parking space and a storage room, while certain apartment types will also feature private terraces and gardens.

The residential complex will provide a total of 87 parking spaces, comprising 76 single spaces and 11 double spaces.

In terms of architectural design, the project combines mineral-finish façades with wood-effect elements, sloping roofs and large glazed surfaces.

The apartments will feature built-in wardrobes in the bedrooms and fully equipped kitchens. Buyers will also be able to choose from different options for flooring, wall finishes and furniture.

Residential development near Encamp town centre

The residential complex will be located near the centre of Encamp, alongside the river and close to the town's main commercial area.

The surrounding neighbourhood offers access to supermarkets, pharmacies, educational facilities and sports centres.

The development is also situated near Funicamp, the cable car providing access to the Grandvalira ski resort.

According to the developer, Andorra la Vella is approximately ten minutes away by car.

Grupo Ramat expands its presence in Andorra's property market

The Encamp development represents the first project outside Spain under Grupo Ramat's A residential brand, although the company already has experience in the Andorran property market.

The developer previously participated in The White Angel Andorra, a residential development located in Andorra la Vella.

Grupo Ramat has 25 years of experience in residential and hotel property development, with activities covering several stages of the real estate business, including design, construction and property management.

With this new project, the company is expanding its presence in Andorra at a time when housing affordability remains one of the main concerns among the country's residents.

Although Grupo Ramat describes the development as primarily intended for permanent residence, the company has not disclosed the selling prices of the apartments or the financial conditions required to purchase them.

Consequently, it is not yet possible to determine whether these homes will be affordable for local families or mainly targeted at buyers with higher purchasing power.
