Two Men Arrested in Andorra Over Alleged Theft of €14,000 Buggy in Grau Roig
The suspects, aged 36 and 40, allegedly took advantage of the vehicle being broken down to steal it in 2025
Andorran Police have arrested two men, aged 36 and 40, on suspicion of stealing a buggy valued at approximately €14,000 in the Grau Roig area of Andorra. The alleged theft took place in 2025, when the vehicle had been left immobilized following a mechanical breakdown.
The arrests were carried out on Tuesday morning in Canillo and La Massana, respectively, following orders issued by the Batllia, Andorra's judicial authority, as part of an ongoing criminal investigation into suspected property offences.
The buggy was broken down when it disappeared
According to Andorran Police, the buggy had been left in Grau Roig after suffering a mechanical failure. Investigators suspect that the two arrested men took advantage of the situation to remove the vehicle without authorization.
The buggy was valued at approximately €14,000, making the alleged theft a significant property crime.
The police investigation identified the two men as possible suspects, although authorities have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the vehicle's disappearance.
Police have also not confirmed whether the stolen buggy has been recovered.
The case remains under judicial investigation
The case was already being handled by the Batllia, which ordered both arrests following investigative proceedings.
The two suspects are being investigated for alleged property offences, while judicial proceedings continue to determine their possible involvement in the disappearance of the vehicle.
The arrests were among several police operations announced on Thursday, November 5, as part of ongoing investigations into suspected property crimes in Andorra.
